Can be used to reinforce: Roof Fixings, Cracks, Splits and holes and joints in Asbestos gutters and sheeting, Rooflights, Metal, Bituminous felts/coatings and Asphalt surfaces, Felted surfaces, Single ply and Fibreglass roofs and Wood.
Application Details
Preparation
- Prepare the surface in line with the requirements for the coating being used in conjunction with the Reinforcing Scrim.
Application
- Apply the coating at the minimum spreading rate stated on the can or datasheet.
- Cut out the Reinforcing Scrim to cover the coated area, lay into the wet coating using a paint brush to press in.
- Adjacent lengths of the reinforcement must overlap by a minimum of 75mm ensuring that there is sufficient coating to fully encapsulate the lap.
- Apply a second coat of the coating on to the mesh to finish the application.
