Application Details
Preparation
- Ensure all areas are clean, dry and free from dust, dirt, corrosion and general surface contamination.
- All oils, grease, etc should be removed with a suitable degreasing solution.
- Do not thin.
- Degreasing with a spirit wipe is recommended and should be carried out after any abrasion of the surface.
- Thorough mechanical preparation (e.G. Power wire brushing, needle gunning, grinding etc) can be utilised for mild environments.
Application
- Stir well before use.
- Application Temperature should be between 5°C-25°C
- To the dry and cleaned surface, apply Britannia Metal Etch Primer by brush, solvent resistant roller or spray.
- Apply at a minimum spreading rate of 10m² per litre.
