Wall coatings
For long lasting wall coatings, Britannia offer a wide range of different
coatings to fit different needs, including concrete, brickwork asbestos, cement
and renderings. For preparing your walls for painting, protecting them from
dampness or providing a good base for decorating Britannia paints offers all
the right materials in wall coating to get you started.
Coats can come in different styles such as smooth and textured both very easy to
apply wall coatings and can be applied by brush, roller or spray techniques.
The wall coatings are shower proof in 20 minutes and long lasting all year
round. Wall coatings are available in white, magnolia, honeysuckle, cream and
other colours to order. Complete dryness may take from 2 to 3 days as the wall
coatings are dependent on evaporation of solvent. Wall coatings should always
be applied when 3 degrees or over in temperature and usually only takes one
coat.
With our wall coatings we also provide coats that protect walls from damp and
give a wall coating that can be built upon for decorations. Clearshield
water-proofer provides a cover on surfaces, to fully protect against dampness
and this wall coating provides a seal to enable your wall to still breathe. To
help with this wall coating's protection against dampness, damp proof paint is
also available which incorporates a water reactive agent to take care of
dampness.
