TRIUMPH FOR TEAM BRITANNIA

Britannia Paints wins the Roofing Racers category of the Virgin Active London Triathlon.

The Britannia Paints Virgin Active Triathlon team came first in the Roofing Racers category and tenth overall out of a total of 452 teams.

Oliver Johnstone (swimming), Nigel Sym (cycling) and Sharon Johnstone (running) completed the gruelling competition in soaring temperatures.

The event took place over the weekend 30-31 July 2011. The swimming course was half a mile around buoys in the Thames and competitors included Richard Branson. The cycling event was over 16 miles, the running over 3.5 miles.
