Block Paving Sealer : Britannia Paints

Our clear acrylic based solvent block paving sealer is of a superior quality, specially formulated to safeguard block paved areas from such things as water, oils and dirt. A semi-gloss look will greatly enhance your decorative block paving or concrete.

New areas need to be fully dry, clean and free from any compounds such as paint and chemicals which will stop penetration of the sealer into the surface. Older concrete areas may require cleaning with a pressure washer or detergent.

Once the surface is prepared the clear block paving sealer is ready to apply with a brush, roller or spray. Two coats are required, you must make sure the first coat is fully dried before applying the second. Avoid applying too much sealer, each coat should be applied thinly being careful not to allow the solvent to pool in low areas .You will be able to cover 3-6 metres per litre depending on the concrete you are applying it to and the application technique. For cleaning you should use a special solvent cleaner, not white spirit.

We supply block paving sealer in 5 litre and 20 litre containers, they have a shelf life of approx 2 years if the sealant is stored in an upright sealed container.
